Mini Camp & Mini Camp Plus
This camp is an amazing socialization adventure introducing our youngest campers to their first full experience of summer camp fun!
Ages 3.5 to 5
Mini Camp: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

We will now be holding our Mini Camps in our specialty camp area. Please refer to the “Specialty Camp Location” area located near the bottom of the webpage.
Mini All Sports Camp
Your littlest campers be introduced to basketball, soccer, and t-ball in this all inclusive introductory sports camp. They will be introduced to all the basic skills of basketball. During soccer, gross motor skills, balance, and coordination will be developed. And in baseball, your kiddos will be introduced to throwing, catching, and batting techniques, fielding, running, and advancing bases. All while emphasizing the importance of good sportsmanship. All skill levels welcome!
Children must be fully toilet trained to be in this camp.

GYM Camp
GYM Camp (Get Yourself Moving) is designed to get campers moving through engaging with all that The Claremont Club has to offer! From soccer, basketball, t-ball, volleyball, group exercise classes, and water activities, your children will have an unforgettable summer making friends and having fun in our safe and interactive summer camp environment.
Note: 5-year-olds in this camp HAVE been in a daycare or school setting before the start of this camp.

Kids Sports and Fitness Camp
For children who love sports, playing, and summer adventure! KSF Camp includes field sports, group exercise classes, and swimming. Campers will gain confidence while learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and social skills all while making friends and memories in a safe and fun environment.

Total Sports and Fitness Camp
Where our oldest campers experience fitness the fun way, TSF Camp encourages socialization and the formation of new friendships. This camp is jam-packed with field sports, group exercise classes, cardio, and weight training. The day will end with a refreshing dip in our Olympic swimming pool. TSF campers experience the best that The Claremont Club has to offer, all in a safe environment.

Junior Consolers
The Claremont Club’s Junior Counselor Camp program’s goal is to motivate, challenge and provide a fun and fulfilling summer experience for teens.
Junior Counselors will be assigned to a camp to assist for the day or for a certain period of time. This will include: helping run activities, bathroom break assistance, setting up equipment, engaging with the children, etc. Our staff will guide Junior Counselors in a professional manner and give them the best experience that will benefit their futures. Above all, we want to ensure this process is FUN and engaging for our campers and counselors!

Basketball Clinic
Come hang out and shoot some hoops with your fellow campers! During this engaging camp, children will further develop their fundamental basketball skills including passing, dribbling, shooting, defending, and rebounding. Utilizing these skills, campers will play games against their fellow campers and a few of our counselors. Sportsmanship and teamwork will be emphasized throughout the week. All skill levels welcome!

Soccer Clinic
Soccer players and fans join in! During this exhilarating week of camp, soccer players will further develop their skills and techniques through drills all taught in a fun and energetic environment. The ERAS Camp: A Taylor Swift Music Camp Experience
Calling all Swifties!!!
Each day, campers will cover all things TS Music, sharing and learning favorite songs,
dances and costumes. Campers will have the chance to make TS friendship bracelets, play
TS trivia/games, wear their favorite TS gear, and will rehearse their favorite TS songs (or have
support to compose their own original song) for a culminating performance. Performing is
Optional. This camp will be led by local Music Educator, Yale Graduate & Singer/Songwriter
Anamaria De La Cruz.

Defying Gravity: A Wicked Musical Camp Experience
Calling all fans of Galinda and Elphaba!!!
Join us for a Wicked Musical Camp Experience, covering all things Wicked. We will sing and
perform songs from Wicked, create dances from Wicked songs, and act out scenes from
Wicked. Campers will have the opportunity to perform their favorite scenes/songs from
Wicked in a culminating performance, though performing is always optional. This camp will
be led by local Music Educator, Yale Graduate & Singer/Songwriter Anamaria De La Cruz.

What’s My Name: A Descendants Rise of Red Camp Experience
Calling all Descendants fans! Join us for a Descendants Rise of Red Camp experience!
Together, we will perform Rise of Red Music, create original Descendants dances, and act
out scenes from Descendants Rise of Red. Campers will have the opportunity to perform
their favorite scenes/songs from Descendants in a culminating performance, though
performing is always optional. This camp will be led by local Music Educator, Yale Graduate
& Singer/Songwriter Anamaria De La Cruz.

Mini Mermaid Camp
A Mermaid Camp for our littlest mermaids! This camp will focus on fun with a fin and friends. Mermaid food, games and art that all mermaids love will be a part of this aquatic adventure. Mini mermaids will meet at the wading pool where they will learn how to float, wiggle and move just like a real mermaid. Mermaid makeovers and photos will be a part of the fun! Fins will be provided. Instructors will be in the water with the children at all times.
All children attending this camp must be toilet trained.

Mermaid Camp
Let your campers put their best fin forward in this aquatic mermaid adventure! During this week-long camp, your mermaid will have the opportunity to swim in a real mermaid tail, learn mermaid tricks, and play mermaid games all under the summer sun. Mermaid crafts, food, and aquatic activities will be provided. By the end of the week, mermaids will get to visit the Mermaid Salon and get their pictures taken “under the sea” completing their mermaid transformations! Fins will be provided. Instructors will be in the water with children at all times.
Swimmers must possess basic front crawl and backstroke technique independently without a floatation device.

Shark Week: A Shark Science Camp
Is your camper ready to take a bite out of science during this shark filled adventure! During this week’s camp, children will engage with one of the world’s most favorite and mysterious animals–sharks! They will learn all about shark biology, shark habitats, enjoy shark themed treats and take a dip in our Olympic sized swimming pool wearing shark fins and living the life of a shark! Children must be able to swim and must wear their swimsuit to camp each day. Finally, campers will conduct a shark dissection and create their own stop motion documentaries featuring one of the 500 species of sharks in the world! Parents are invited to join us on Friday for a film showcase, awards and refreshments. Don’t be a flounder and sign up your camper today!

Mini Science Camp: Vet Academy
Have your littlest animal lovers join us for a week of animal adventures and fun! Each camper will get to adopt their own “pet” dog or cat. They will learn all about what it means to properly care for their animals including grooming them, feeding them and most of all-loving them! Mini campers will learn about a day in the life of a veterinarian and perform some veterinary techniques on their furry (stuffed animal) friends including wrapping injuries, administering vaccinations, and performing general well being check ups. All mini scientists will participate in a graduation party at the end of the week. It will be a barking good time!

8 Bit Adventures: A Minecraft themed Camp
Minecrafters unite in this week-long, all day adventure where your campers will get to immerse themselves in the world of Minecraft! Each day we will play games with some of their favorite characters from the popular video game including Creepers, Wardens and the all new character: the Creaking! We will be bringing back one of the kids’ favorite activities: Craft a Snack where kids will get to craft their own snacks to enjoy. The week will end in a Minecraft party and an epic camp ending battle against the Enderdragon!

Science Camp: Veterinary Academy
Have your aspiring veterinarians join us for Veterinary Academy! This week, campers will learn the ins and outs of what it takes to be a real veterinarian. They will learn how to perform preliminary check-ups, set a cast, suture injuries, draw blood and administer vaccinations on their very own stuffed animal patients. We will create full anatomical models of their adopted stuffed friends detailing organ cells and organ systems. Each day will culminate in an end of day dissection! On the last day, campers will graduate Veterinary Academy and get to participate in a party celebrating their success as “veterinarians”!

May the Force Be With You: A Star Wars Themed Adventure
The Force is strong with your camper if they join us for May the Force Be With You! During this Star Wars themed adventure camp, children will become true padawans that must navigate multiple challenges to become Jedi Knights including rescuing Grogu from the Dark Side, challenging an angry Wampa, and much more! They will complete planet studies where they learn about the various galaxies throughout the Star Wars universe including studying their habitats, their flora and fauna and creating unique art pieces that showcase their research. We will end the week with an epic battle of the light side versus the dark side of the Force. It will be an unforgettable week that will be with your camper, always!

Stop Motion Animation Camp: YouTube Edition
Our popular Stop Motion Animation Camp returns with a twist: one of YouTube sized proportions! In this week long camp, your child will not only learn how to brainstorm, write, and animate their own Stop Motion Animated films, but they will also learn the ins and outs of creating their own YouTube channel complete with creating their own YouTube channel names, their YouTube personalities, optimizing their content for views and so much more. The week will end in a premier of their channels and the films that they have created complete with popcorn and refreshments. (Channels will stay set to private until parents are ready to share their child’s creations with the world).

Claremont School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Professors Gomez and McCay invite your young witches and wizards to join us for witchcraft and wizardry fun! Campers will be enrolled in Claremont’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where they will be sorted into houses, get their own pet owls, cats, rats and frogs to bring them their own Daily Prophet each day, take numerous courses including but not limited to Care and Feeding of Magical Creatures, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Flying through the Ages. Students will create their own brooms and compete in a Quidditch Tournament! Games, food, immersion and fun will all be a part of this two week camp!

Science Camp: Grossology!
Join us for a week learning about our wild, weird and gross world as we delve into the Science of the gross in Grossology! Campers will learn about worms and their role in the environment as they get to hunt for, and hold their very own worms as we discover composting and soil science. We will get to learn about the microscopic, gross world of bacteria, fungi and other microbes as campers will culture their own bacteria and mold colonies and make clay models of the different types of bacteria/mold species. Finally, they will discover the weird and gross world of their own bodies as we delve into the science behind boogers, saliva, and you guessed it-poop! It will be a wild and eye opening, educational camp adventure!

Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Academy
Have your camper join us for a week of Dungeons & Dragons excitement as we play through the adventure “The Waking of Willowby Hall” during this immersive and engaging Dungeons and Dragons Camp! Campers will create their own characters, get framed character portraits, paint their own minis and create dice boxes to navigate an adventure where they must discover why a haunted mansion is coming to life all while they are being chased by an angry giant! D&D themed snacks, music and crafts will all be a part of the fun. Will your character discover what’s waking Willowby hall? Will they escape the giant? Join us and find out!

Pokémon Camp: World Championships
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon! This week, your camper will learn all about what it takes to catch them all by exploring the world of being a Pokemon trainer. They will have the opportunity to fight wild pokemon, learn about their habitats and the science behind their evolutions, play games, eat treats and so much more! This immersive camp includes Pokemon Card pack openings. Children are encouraged to bring their own cards to trade and battle with. Each child will go home with a 60 card playable deck! The end of the week will culminate in a Pokemon Card tournament complete with prizes and a party where campers will get to play Pokemon Go, play the Scarlet and Violet video game and celebrate the Pokemon World Championships being held in Anaheim this year. Can your camper “Catch them all”?

Pee Wee Tennis Camp (Ages 4-7)
Designed for young children who have little to no tennis experience, this camp helps future sports stars develope the hand-eye coordination and motor skills essential for all sports. Basic strokes and tennis terminology are incorporated into fun games.
Junior Tennis Camp (Ages 7-17)
Beginner-to-intermediate level players, this camp provides dynamic instruction and drills designed to improve strokes, speed, and agility. Campers will also play games and have a chance to cool off in our Olympic-sized swimming pool. Participants are grouped by skill level.
Junior Pickleball Camp (Ages 7-17)
Campers will learn the rules of the game, develop basic skills through drills, and learn how to play games independently. Participants will be grouped based on skill level. All equipment will be provided. No Prior experience is necessary. All skill levels are welcome!
Summer Swim School
Tiny Tots
(Ages 3-4, max class size 4)
Great introduction to the water for children with no prior swim experience. Children will learn to blow bubbles, submerge head under water, bob 10 times, jump in shallow water, and front/back float and glide.
Sea Monkeys
(Ages 3-4, max class size 4)
Children will learn to flutter kick on front/back, freestyle arms, backstroke arms, jump in shallow water, and level off and kick.
Level 1 - Starfish
(Ages 5+, max class size 4)
An introductory class for children with no prior swim experience. Children will learn to blow bubbles, hold head underwater for 10 seconds, jump in water and return to wall, front/back float and glide, flutter kick front/back, and roll from front to back, and freestyle 15 yards.
Level 2 - Minnows
(Ages 5+, max class size 4)
Children will learn to jump in deep water, intro to side breathing, proper side breath 25 yards, intro to backstroke, backstroke 15 yards, intro to elementary backstroke, and elementary backstroke 15 yards.
Level 3 - Guppies
(Ages 5+, max class size 4)
Children will learn to freestyle 50 yards, backstroke 25 yards, intro to diving, sit/knee dives, intro to breaststroke, breaststroke 15 yards, and swim in deep water treading for 30 seconds.
Level 4 - Dolphins
(Ages 5+, max class size 4)
Children will learn to freestyle 75 yards, backstroke 50 yards, breaststroke 25 yards, tread water for 1 minute, swim in deep water, open turns, and diving.
Level 5 - Sharks
(Ages 5+, max class size 4)
Children will learn to freestyle 100 yards, backstroke 75 yards, breaststroke 50 yards, intro to butterfly (arms and legs), butterfly 25 yards, flip turns, and endurance to advance to pre-comp.
Pre-Competitive Swim Team
(Ages 6+)
Children will learn all competitive strokes, dive off blocks, good timing, reading clock, count flags, and finish complete sets.
Child & Me Classes
A great introduction to the water for children ages 6 months to 3 years. Adults must get in the water with their child.
General Information
Welcome to TCC’s BIG FUN Summer Camp 2024!
As a team, we are dedicated to providing your child(ren) with a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere. Our camps are all about making friendships and great memories.
The Claremont Club welcomes all campers of different ages and abilities. To help us achieve this goal, we encourage parents to give us detailed information about their child’s situation or needs.
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Morning drop off is located at our south gate. Parents must walk their children through the gates to our their designated camp location. However, we do allow children enrolled in Total Sports & Fitness including their siblings to be dropped off at our south gate.
Afternoon pick-up ends promptly at 4:00pm. A late fee will occur after this time. Please be sure your password is shared with anyone authorized to pick up your child.
Weekly Reminders
Water Bottles – Make sure your child brings a refillable water bottle. We have refill stations at each camps table area, and in all areas of The Club.
Sunblock – Make sure your children arrive with sunblock already on, If you would like them to use throughout the day, please pack them with one.
Swimsuits – If your child is registered in Mini Camp or GYM camp please have your child show up in their swimsuits everyday.
Registrations – All registrations must be completed online the Wednesday before the camp session date to not incur a $50 late fee.
Lunches – If there is a day your child will not eat what is served, please pack them a lunch.

The camps offered in this area are:
Mini Camp & Mini Camp Plus, Art, Miss Robin’s Specialty Camps, and Mrs. De La Cruz’s Music/Singer/Songwriting camps; The Era’s Camp (Taylor Swift) and Wicked of Oz Camp.
Check in for these camps will be at The Club’s south main entrance doors, pictured left.

Camp Attire
- Children should come prepared each day to camp with a backpack labeled and all items inside with your child’s name including a towel, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and sandals.
- Your child(ren) are expected to have their swimsuit on upon arrival to camp.
- Sunscreen should already be applied upon their arrival to camp. We cannot provide this or put on.
- Please have your child(ren) wear fitness clothes and/or clothes that are well loved.
- Athletic shoes should be worn as they enter Camp and sandals should be packed to wear to and from the pool only.
- Shoes with rollers or that roll are not allowed.
- Parents, please make sure all personal belongings are picked up upon departure. However, in case your child does leave something behind, we do have a lost and found.
- There are water refill stations at the Club and your child(ren) are able to refill their water bottles at any time.
Food and snacks
- Please bring a refillable water bottle daily.
- Please do not bring glass water bottles or any glass containers.
- No hot water is allowed. Please do not bring food that needs to be warmed.
- Morning snacks should be brought from home. An afternoon popsicle will be provided by The Claremont Club.
- NO NUT PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED in all Childcare areas including but not limited to Summer Camp, Infant/Toddler Care, Kids Court, and InZone. If the product states “may contain nuts” or manufactured in a facility with nuts,” it is also not allowed.
- Registration for full-day camps include lunch Monday through Friday from 12-1pm. If your child has dietary restrictions or special diet preferences, parents must pack a lunch from home following our “NO NUTS POLICY”.

Technology
We aim to foster social skills and make fun memories. Please leave iPads, laptops, cell phones, tablets and any other form of technology at home. Our camp is a “No Technology Zone”. If your child comes in with any of these devices, we will ask him/her to give them to us and we will return the devices at the end of the day. If you need to contact your child or your child needs to contact you, we will be more than happy to assist. Your child can use our phones with help from his or her counselor, or you can call our extensions. Please let us know prior or during check in if you require your child the use of our phones so that we may help you better.
No Bullying
The Claremont Club respects all families. As an organization that upholds this value, we look forward to receiving the same respect for our employees, members and property. The Claremont Club does not tolerate bullying, aggressive or destructive behavior from children or parents. Our policy is geared towards making fun memories and building relationships. If bullying becomes an issue, suspension or expulsion from our program may result without a refund.

Need a full day? Add Complete the Day Camp!
For those campers participating in the Junior Tennis Camps, Sports Camps, or Specialty Camps may complete the day in another camp throughout the week by paying a “Complete the Day” fee. This option allows the campers to enjoy a full day of camp (9:00 am to 4:00 pm) with lunch provided Monday through Friday. See below for the cost:
5 days of camp
Members: $195
Non-members: $235
Complete the day is only available to campers ages 5 and up.
Lunch Option
If your child is signed up for one of our half day camps you are eligible to purchase the Lunch Option. This option allows your child to be supervised from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. We will provide lunch for your child from Monday through Friday. Parents are encouraged to still bring a snack for their children.
Prices for this option are as follows:
Members: $70 per week per child
Non-members: $90 per week per child
Extended Care
Extended care is available 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. All extended care is in hour increments only. No half hour increments are accepted. This fee must be paid daily when you drop off and/or pick up your child. For children ages 3 to 6 years old, extended care will be held at Kids Court. For children ages 7 to 14, extended care will be held at InZone. Afternoon extended care for Mini Campers is available from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Prices for extended care are as follows:
Members: $5 per hour per child
Non-members: $10 per hour per child
Registration Fees
There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $45 for members and $65 for non-members. There is a 2.9% processing fee for all transactions. This fee cannot be waived. A change fee of $40 will be charged for any changes made in specific camps or switching days or weeks of camp. This fee cannot be waived. Registration forms are due Wednesday by 4:00 pm the week prior to the start of camp. If registration forms are received after this time, a late fee of $50 will be added to your registration price. This fee cannot be waived.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds, cancellations, or prorating. Cancellations greater than one week prior to your registered week will receive a full Childcare Club Credit minus the registration and supply fees. The Childcare Club Credit can be redeemed no later than December of the same year the credit was incurred. Cancellations within one week of the start date will receive a 50% Childcare Club Credit of the camp price minus the registration and supply fees. Cancellations on the day or once the camp begins will result in no refund or credits. Any changes to the camp, times, or sessions will incur a $40 change fee. This fee cannot be waived. All camps are subject to a minimum registration requirement. If the Claremont Club cancels a camp due to low enrollment, we will refund 100% of the cost of the camp.
